He had them playing in.

BP is #8 on the active list of GIDP, and he's got the entire infield +1 in.

They are going with the 6 man at least once thru the rotation. I hope they bring Wisler or another starter up so they can come in early. I don't wanna see snit leave colon in too long and let the game get out if hand or have to deplete the bp..

He gets a ton of deserved flack, but I think it should've worked. The SS got scared and stopped going for it.

Yea the "easy" or right way to play that is the 2B dives sort of in front of the bag and SS goes behind him.  That decision should be made before the AB.

The right decision was to walk Brandon and set up easy forces everywhere. His run didn't matter at all.

I see both sides of the decision whether or not to walk him.  Like Raider said... it not like BP isn't easy to double up.  But yes the force at any position is probably the way I would have done it as well.  It DID work tho, he got the ground ball that was the goal.  Just no one went for it lol

That is what I meant. Mattingly's crazy plan actually worked, but it looked as if those 5 had never put their theory into practice. Like literally they never practiced it.
