Like TMac mentioned, he's been in regular workouts in Florida in extended spring. Not sure if he'll be in GCL or Danville, and it's been looking like he'll open at 3B, which is not surprising after he added about 3" of height and a ton of muscle mass in between initial views and his appearance in fall instructionals last year. He dwarfed Juan Yepez, who is listed at 6'1, 200, but that's from his signing, and he's more 6'3 and 210 after really working to play 3B himself this year for Rome. Estimates from a few scouts at instructionals were that Maitan was 6'5-6'6, 225-230 with minimal body fat.

More like he was 13-14 when first numbers were put out on him, and still 16 when final pre-signing numbers came out, so he's right in the wheelhouse to add height and muscle naturally.
