When is too early to start the discussion? Apparently never...
This is one of the better mock drafts out there at this point, touted by some (okay, just the people who run the website) as the best.

As far as big names go, it has Brady Quinn going first to the Lions, Ted Ginn to the Pack at 11, Dwayne Jarrett 25th to the Chiefs, and Jeff Samardzija 27th to the Pats. Obviously this is complete speculation, but interesting nontheless...

I have the ultimate answer for the falcons.
Trade Michael Jenkins and Roddy White and possibly someone else like Schaub (or vick depending on who you think is better) to get one of the top three draft picks then the falcons can draft the answer to all of their problems, the fantastic, the incredible......... Calvin Johnson AKA greatest football player ever.

if it's me, Vick is gone...it frees up money and you're rid of a quarterback who can't pass consistently.

Suprisingly enough, that wouldn't be such a bad trade...

what do you mean suprisingy. I know it would be a good trade. Those 2 recievers suck, but people still think they have potential so they should have some trade value, then u give up one quality QB and keep the other. In return you get the greatest reciever of this generation.

Cuz Roddy White and Michael Jenkins were supposed to be good coming out of college, too...

I`am a Dallas Cowboys fan..and even tho we are headed to the playoffs and prob have a solid chance as good as any other team to winning the super bowl i thnk we should make some huge changes and try to get a top pick and snag a good QB i like Quinn and Smith

Psst...there's this guy named Tony Romo. Maybe you should check into what he's doing. It's fairly historic.

Exactly. Romo can be a star in this league and the Cowboy fans (some of them) are already looking for his replacement.

Mike and Mike had a good little add-in about Romo today in how everyone made a big deal about Big Ben winning all those games and getting into the playoffs and so forth, but they mostly did that by handing the ball off 35-40 times and playing great defense. Since Romo took over as QB, they've not been scared about throwing the ball and Romo has looked great. If I had a Tony Romo at QB, I would be pretty happy.

As a Steeler fan, I hoped that Big Ben slipped to us in the draft. I called it long before it happened. I'm a huge Roethlisberger fan, but even I'll admit that his streak as a rookie was brought on by the system. I think he's a good QB, but I think he's still got a long way to go.
What Romo is doing is mind boggling. They haven't babied him through games, they basically threw him to the wolves and he responded, and then raised the bar.

Although Romo looks very promising, I expect him to struggle this week, I see NY coming out inspired and they get a couple guys back from injury (Osi, Short, maybe Madison)

Well, no one can predict what the Giants can do. They could get it together and start a late season surge or continue to fall to pieces. I know Coughlin will probably keep his job because of the injuries, but that hot seat's got to be chafing his ass.
I don't know if that made sense.

Giants are a joke this yr...watch for dallas to jump out to a quick lead...14-0 21-0 and then giants will fall apart...look for a eli to shockey TD...and thats going to be it...iam saying game will go somthing like 21-10.....dallas rolls on-to victory.

Not so fast, my friend. Game is deadlocked now.

I say we make Vick into a receiver and start Shaub at QB

Considering Vick is just a terrible QB, it's a good choice.

if i were to move vick, i would make him a RB. However, thats ridiculous and will never happen.

It's ridiculous because it will never happen, yes. It's not ridiculous in the sense that could actually help the Falcons. They are never going to get anywhere with a runner at quarterback.

Ummm..... ok?
Mike Vick would be a WAY better WR, look at (this one's for you, McCarroll) Matt Jones and Reggie McNeal.

Don't forget Antwan Randle El. There's quite a few others out there, the latest being Brad Smith.
Athletic QBs make good WRs because they understand how to read routes from a QBs perspective. However, I still think that if Vince Young can be a QB in the NFL, Matt Jones could be one too, but he's doing fine for himself at WR as it is.

QFE! Yeah, I just see know way Vick could handle the grind of being a running back in the NFL or even college.
