I got in contact with Krawhitham tonight because I am very sure that I am not the only one who is tired of these people coming in here to demand something be done because they are tired of waiting for it, Almost on a daily basis you all have seen this behavior in the Mvp 08 thread. Some of you guys don't want to even go in that thread anymore because of what's been going on.

Anyhow, this is the answer he gave me and you can take this as the gospel truth. The Mvp 2008 mod will be released for download approximately one to two weeks AFTER the pressbox photos are released.

We all expected the pressbox photos to be out. So did those guys! It's not their fault they can't do anything before this happens.

The way I see it is now you all have a good idea when this mod is going to be finished. I quoted Kraw word for word. There should be no more demanding for the release of this mod from this time out.

Don't even joke about the release of the mod because not everyone will know you are joking and then it will get them asking too. How about if we all just let these guys finish this and when it's finally done, not to forget to thank them for what they did?

so there you have it. for those of you with MVP 05: it might be time to start warming up!

there is a project to release an MVP 08 update for MVP 04. go by mvpmods.com and eamods.com, there should be some info.

Played a game yesterday against Zito. He walked 12, struck out 9, allowed 3 :D hits and 9 runs in 5 innings, and was only pulled after 140 pitches, truly great coaching by the AI.

Adjust the sliders to get some more balls from the AI, and get your fingers off the swing button a little bit more, and you'll get off your anemic obp's :D

Well I think my game is screwing up. Played another game against the Dbacks today, and they committed 8 errors :confused: Every time they threw to first, the 1st baseman wouldn't make the play and let the ball get away :eek: If this goes on, I'll save my dynasty and reinstall the game...
I had Teix hitting 3 homeruns though, and Larry one, he has 40 after 130 games :cool:

Oh and I strikeout so few people (my best is Smoltz, 140 K's through 200ip), that I realized Mark T is on pace for 1600 putouts :lol:

I just downloaded the MVP 2008 patch for MVP Baseball 2004. Its really tight. It has all of the new uniforms for the various teams. Like the Braves red and blue ones. I like it a lot.

This is not MVP baseball but MLB08 the show, but I'm playing in the road to the show thingy as a starting pitcher. I'm in 2009, AAA #2 SP, we're playing the Yankees AAA team in the playoffs and this is their lineup 1-6

So, in my MVP Baseball 2004, with 2008 rosters, the Braves made the World Series in 2009. Their lineup was insane too. I beat them with the Rays though. But, its only because I'm an amazing manager. There were only three players from this years team (Escobar, C. Jones and McCann starting) Rafael Soriano won CY Young in 2008 and Rolaids Relief in 2008, 2009. Jo-Jo Reyes had one of the top ERAs in the league, as did Mike Hampton. We can wish, can't we?
