Knox, a friend from Crooked Pitch, sent me an e-mail earlier today to give me a heads up on a blog he posted.
You can view the recap from this link (http://www.crookedpitch.com/126/the-atlanta-braves-outfield-of-2007/).
He compared their lines to their ZiPS Projection and gave them a grade based on that. and then provides an outlook for 2008. It would be appreciated if you went by and posted some thoughts on his entry from some the Braves crowd.

Hasn't anyone actually seen Brandon Jones play the outfield?? He's no centerfielder! I guess everyone figures that since he was named Most Athletic of the Braves' prospects by BA, he could play center. If he was any worse in left field, he wouldn't have a position at all.

Well, milbraves, he likely hasn't seen him play and is just going on word he has received from other areas. We know that Brandon Jones is not a candidate for CF, but does the general baseball public that do not follow the Braves minor league systems know that? Of course not. How would they know?

I didn't realize that the article was a part of a fanblog, thought it was a professional article.
Still, scouting reports are not all that hard to come by in this technological day and age, what with all them fancy internets and interwebs the kids are using.
