The #2 greatest LCS moment was the Sid Bream slide into home in 1991.

#1 was the whole Red Sox coming back against the Yankees in '04. Which I believe, is deserving to the number 1 spot.

Do you agree????

Which site are you looking at? ESPN's Page 2 did the same thing and chose the Bream slide was #1

Figures, they usually pick the most recent ones to be #1

I don't see how three games plus a couple innings of another game can be classified as a moment.

Yes, as a whole, the BoSox coming back from a 3-0 deficit, starting in their final at-bat of the fourth game, shits all over a single play at the plate... But come on, when you say moment, we're talking one single play or event.

Endy Chavez was robbed though. Number 34 for the greatest post-season catch ever? Fuck you.

And look how many moments are there from the '04 ALCS. Just goes to show you how truly special that series was.

I was 10 when that play happened and I remember watching it while I peaked through my covers that night. That was one INTENSE game! I still get cold chills every time I hear the replay.

I've gotta admit something: I can't watch the highlight or listen to the audio anymore.

Sid Bream was always my mom's favorite player. She worshiped the ground the guy walked on. From the time we signed him in '91 till the trade for McGriff, all mom wanted to know was if Sid was in the lineup and how he did if he was.

Since losing mom almost a year ago, I just completely lose it even thinking about when Sid slid.

Perfectly understandable B, I turn away every time I see something about Mickey Mantle or Derek Jeter. My mom adored Mantle when she was young cuz he was of course handsome but she loved Jeter as I explained in this post (http://www.braves-nation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6089). But I'm sorry for your loss B

I actually got to meet Sid at White Water one summer after he retired. I still remember that, both the play and meeting him like they were yesterday and one happened when I was 6, and one happened when I was in my pre-teens.

Also, one summer Six Flags over Georgia did a whole sports related thing and they had a broadcast booth where you could repeat the call of that game and they had your voice calling the game on the actual game footage. I know I still have that video but can't find it anywhere.

I wonder if it would have been higher had the Mets hung on and won.
