What do you guys think of Scott Kazmir,I really think the Braves have a good chance of trading for him...heres a very plausable deal :

Braves get : Scott Kazmir
Rays get : Edgar Renteria & Buddy Carylye

That is undoubtedly the dumbest trade I have heard. The Rays have plenty of offense and not enough pitching and you want to send them a plus SS and a journeyman pitcher for an already proven ace?

Kazmir would take a lot of prospects and major league ready talent not a SS and a AAAA player.

This thread has to be a joke. I don't think there is really any trade proposal that would net any team Scott kazmir at this point....hell, trading him when he was an unproven rookie cost a GM his job. He's one of the most highly-thought-of young pitchers in the game. And cheap ta boot.

Haha. Yeah, there's no way on earth ANY team could meet the Rays' asking price for Kazmir... but speaking of lefty strike-out pitchers, is there any way we could swindle Bedard from the Orioles ?

I think it's a great idea to get Kazmir for Renteria and a random pitcher who can't pitch. Then sign A-Rod for 10 years at the league minimum and watch the WS wins come in. If that doesn't work after the first year, the Braves can always buy a few for packages like Orr and Woodward, Carlyle and Sturtze, or the ultimate package of a resigned Mike Hampton.:cool:
