View Full Version : Braves-Nation.com Off-Season Coverage

This year, we're going to step up our off-season coverage and post a series of articles that will lead us up to Winter Meetings. This will start on Monday, October 8 when the first of 17 articles is released. The series will then feature an article every Monday and Thursday, concluding on December 3 when Winter Meetings are set to begin.

We didn't do this last year, but I figured that it would be something interesting to do to bridge the gap from the season to when the real off-season movement will begin. If nothing else, it will provide fresh content and hopefully generate some discussion. If it goes well, it will be something we will attempt to build on next year.

As always, don't be afraid to comment on the articles. They'll be written in hopes to generate some discussion (and BN Bux double in the articles forums for an added bonus).

The hope is to try our best to keep providing topics of interest from now right up to the time when all the off-season fun will begin.

I'm sure you can answer them, but none of it will be correct.
Nicely done, it was like a Shakespearean play, you know what the end result will be but the way in which it's accomplished is so unpredictable.

On the heels of today's events, our list may change. I'm not sure though. I know there will likely be another article released, likely tomorrow, to discuss the man that is John Schuerholz. I think that may be the best way to do it. I'll write one but not alter the rest of the list, just call it an extra.

I apologize for those of you who actually enjoy reading our articles and appreciate the hard work that goes into it, but the magazine took priority, and sleep came in second.

You and all the writers do a fine job with your articles and other duties associated with this site and the new magazine. I only hope that you can find a way to profit from this so your time can be dedicated to the continuation of this site and the magazine. I certainly enjoy the time away from the hum-drum of my day to read the insight of some of the educated fans that this site provides. Once again, you all provide an important service to fans of the Braves, as well as fans of baseball.
