Skip is my hero, I've grown up hearing his voice and met him a few times, one of the all-time greats! I mean, just look at the fraction of some of the great stuff he has said this year that I have quoted in my sig, most recently in the last game.

It should be noted that the words to that song were penned by a writer in the NY Post, IIRC. Skip just sang it on the air.

O man I cant believe he said that junk on the air baby!! lol, that why he wont be calling in furutre TBS games, cuz if one of em is a Muts game theyll have at him. Amazing. A tragedy that that man wont be calling Braves games on TBS anymore, I actually might start listening to the radio show instead of mlb.tv just cause.....Since I started being a braves fan in like 92, after i watched the VHS tape of the 91 World Series, that voice has been synomous with the Braves, from the times where he has said shit and fuck on the air, to his singing debut...classic, Mr Caray.

Well he'll be calling some games on peachtree tv I read. I hope so because I can't catch him on the radio.
