Time Warner's efforts to sell the Braves, which began in 2005, apparently will extend into 2007. Braves chairman and president Terry McGuirk said it's now "unlikely" the proposed deal to sell the team to Liberty Media will come up for a vote at Major League Baseball's owners meeting in Chicago on Nov. 16, the final owners meeting of the year. That's because Time Warner and Liberty negotiators and lawyers are still navigating through a complex, tax-driven potential deal that ultimately must satisfy not only buyer and seller but also the IRS and MLB.
