cool. shows hope. maybe he can improve, get it to a consistent .060+ next year. Maybe a .270 BAvg, so a .330 OBP out of Francoeur would be pretty good. somewhere between .450-.500 SLG, and that'd be a pretty nice year.

Many people are expecting more than that from him. I feel sorry for the poor kid. He is just getting hammered by everybody because of his OBP. Expect him to bounce back in a big way from his 2006 "Sophmore Slump" year. I wouldn't be surprised to see him hit .300 with a .330 opb and 30+ hrs with 120 rbis.

The thing about Jeff is that the power numbers are there. He's still 22 years old, a lot of people forget that. I think he's learning about discipline, but he won't ever have a high OBP. His discipline will help him get into better counts and hit for a higher average, I hope.

I agree, I think that Jeff will become a more consistent hitter. Remember he has barely played more than a full season. his RBI and HR numbers are pretty damn good, and his patience will get better. look for a good 2007 season.
