I'm in the process of upgrading the forums, so if you're one of the late nighters and the forums shut down for you, that is the reason why.
It likely won't take too long after I get to the point of shutting the forums down. I will then have to edit some things to get our template up to date. After I finish, I'll give a list of all the changes that went along with the update.
Edit: 6:41 AM - This is still not done yet. It is taking forever to upload the files back onto the server.

The upgrade should be complete. I still have to update some of the hacks that we have on the site, but I will do that over the course of the day and it shouldn't effect the message board in any way.
I uninstalled a few things during the upgrade:
Arcade - may come back at a later date. I didn't want to move the games and such, but I may bring it back with better games soon. Just depends, I guess.
The hack that made the URLs with the name of the topic and forum instead of showthread, etc. has been removed. Over time, I think this lead to more problems with pages not being able to be found than it did good.There may be some more things that I can't think of right now. I know there's more, but it's mostly just things from the staff that isn't used anymore so it doesn't effect everyone but three people here.
Let me know if you find something that isn't quite right. There were quite a few template modifications that had to be made that I could have made a mistake on.

Bet there's gonna be a lot of whining over that. Hopefully this will cause the people that just go there to see that there is more to the site than the arcade.

Apologies David. It will likely return with more games soon, I honestly mean that. I had had problems with the arcade before during an upgrade and decided that it would be best to just uninstall and start it fresh at some other point.

Nope. The Kiddie Patrol is still live and well. Problem is that their founding members have been banned so it's not as noticeable.

No. The upgrade is already done. It was just moving up to a newer version for security reasons, new features, etc. Not a dramatic change.

Didn't really know where else to put this, so it goes here. It obviously isn't a big deal, but something I've noticed and wondered if you were ever going to change, but wouldn't you agree that it's safe to say that Salty can be moved up to the "Major League" section of the Image Gallery now?

Yeah. There's some changes I need to make there. Buddy doesn't have a category and I think Wilson is still with the team. It's probably something that will be put off until the all-star break or when I'm really bored with nothing to do.

Freakin sweet the other day I think Friday I was viewing the new posts and that little icon next to the thread that was supposed to take you to your last read post was not working. I was going to ask you about it but after I read this thread I went and checked on that little guy and

Have not had any problems as of today. Been around for about 45 minutes. Will let you know if I see anything.

Side note you should add a link to the "new Posts" between "previous thread" and "next thread" so you dont have to scroll all the way to the top. Minor thing just something that is greatly liked at tsz

David, try clearing your history, temp files and cookies. I had that happening to me in IE right after the upgrade and clearing all the files made it line up again.

I found the problem and have corrected it. I guess clearing the temporary files was just a temporary fix for me. It only happens in IE, so I didn't notice it. It should be corrected now though.

I suggest you go find somewhere else to play games then. If I do add a new arcade and people only play the games and don't post anything on the message board, they won't be playing games for much longer.
Posters like this are the exact reason I'm in no hurry to add the arcade back and didn't worry about supporting the arcade (adding new games, etc.) when it was up.

I upgraded the forums again. If you have any problems or buggy occurrences, let me know. It wasn't as big of an upgrade as the last but it needed to be done.

The newest version of vBulletin has a problem with links. It is playing tricks on our old gamethreads and my normal gamethread template. It is also messing up the AccuScore thing for gamethreads. I don't think it's a problem anywhere else, at least not that I've noticed. I've reported the bug, but I wanted you guys to be aware. Let me know if you have any problems with images not showing where they're supposed to and/or links not working.
