The Braves levied a three-game suspension on Class AA Mississippi manager Phillip Wellman on Monday for his bizarre and well-publicized outburst in an argument with an umpire. Later in the afternoon, Braves players and their manager rallied around the man many will know for a crazy-looking rant, which included crawling to the pitcher's mound and picking up and throwing a resin bag like it was a hand grenade. Clips of Wellman's rant have been shown numerous times on CNN, ESPN, YouTube.com and one more time on Headline News in Bobby Cox's office off the Braves dugout Monday afternoon.
