Yunel Escobar made the most of his first day in the Major Leagues, going 2-for-4 with an RBI double as the Braves downed the Cubs, 5-3, at Wrigley Field on Saturday afternoon. Starter Chuck James limited Chicago to two runs in six innings.

Because of heavy rains, Escobar's Friday night flight to Chicago was diverted to Ft. Wayne, Ind., where he stayed until Saturday morning. His first steps on the Wrigley Field turf came 70 minutes before the first pitch.

No wonder he went 2-4, he got a great night's sleep :)
