So, I’ve decided something and would like to get some of your opinions. The motion for this was put into place months ago, and I kind of hinted at it in the Tentative 2007 Schedule (http://www.braves-nation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=95) thread. I was thinking, what if we all got group seating at Turner Field for a few games during the season? It would be a way for all of us to kind of meet each other and know who we were talking baseball with -- kind of a live game thread, so to speak.
What I would like to know from some of you is:
Would you be interested in doing something like this?
Would it be possible for you to attend games if they were scheduled in advance?The first set of dates I have in mind would be April 6-8, the opening series at Turner Field, facing off against the Mets. I listed all three games because not being near Atlanta pretty much forces my hand in going to games -- I'm not going to go all the way to Atlanta and only go to one game. Basically, what that means is that even if we can’t get a large group together for one of those games, I’ll be there regardless so if you want to catch up with me I’ll give you some contact information and we can meet somewhere in the ballpark.
From then on, I’m not sure of any dates that speak to me. Anyway, just cast a vote in the poll and then discuss whatever you feel is necessary on the situation. If we are getting some good interest in this and I can gauge how many people might show up, I could work on getting group tickets for all of us.
