So, I'm sure some have already thought of this but I wanted to start a topic to see how you feel about it.

5/7-5/10 - San Diego Padres - Giles/Maddux return to Atlanta
5/11-5/13 - Pittsburgh Pirates - Facing off against LaRoche
5/14-5/16 - Washington Nationals - Meet up with Langerhans (unless he's traded again of course)

Tomorrow will be the first time that Giles has come back to Atlanta after we kind of dumped him. The way KJ has played has kind of taken some of the edge off of it, but it's still there.

Over the next three series, we'll see quite a few familiar faces.

I'm kind of anxious for Giles return. I wonder if he's cheered or booed? Some of the things that came out over the winter lead me to believe it will be a mixed reaction, but more cheers than boos.

Maddux will always be cheered when he comes back.

I'm ready to see LaRoche, but I'm more ready to see how the fans in Pittsburgh react when Gonzo strikes him out to end a game.

No reason for the fans to boooed Giles it not like he said anything bad about the braves.Or that he sign with the Mets.He should be cheered

Julio Franco did sign with the mets and received a two-minute standing ovation. Giles made waaaaaaaay more contribution than Franco during his stint. If people in the stands boo they'd be utter idiots.

I wish we had Kage in left and Gilly at 2b. Imagine if we had BOTH those bats in our lineup, minus the virtual automatic outs that have been plaguing LF this year.

Giles, Langerhans, Adam should all get good ovations from the crowd they did a lot for this team while they were here. No bad Blood i miss tho guys but players get moved thats baseball.

I always said Kelly Johnson should be our LF imagine him and Giles in this lineup WOW!

SALTY 1ST BASEMEN OF THE FUTURE!

Well, we'll be on the road for LaRoche and Langerhans. Giles, I'm not sure. There were some things that came out that kind of spoiled his exit. I'm sure he'll still get cheered, but probably not as much as Julio did.

Who knows, I hope we don't boo him. I hate when we boo Glavine, so I will hate if we boo Giles too.

As excited as I am to see Adam play, Im really looking forward to smoltz vs Maddux as well.

Giles wont get booed, people in Atlanta liked him. the only reason Glavine gets booed is because fans feel like he turned his back on the Braves, its not the same with Giles/Maddux/Franco/LaRoche/Furcal or any recent Braves that I can think of.
