Which is/was the bigger boil on the ass-end of the Braves rotation.

Any others leap to mind? And don't give me Shame Reynolds...at least he did what we were hoping Reddy would do: eat innings and give our team a chance.

Edit

C: Bruce Chen. Should've looked up before speaking...he didn't end up being that bad.

Lopez 2002: 4 starts, 0-4, 19.0 ip, 7.11 ERA, 13 k / 7 bb, 1 hr
Redman 2007: 4 starts, 0-3, 18.7 ip, 10.12 ERA, 11 k / 6 bb, 3 hr
Sosa 2006: 13 starts, 1-8, 70 ip, 5.53 ERA, 45 k / 20 bb, 17 hr

Please, feel free to grab a bucket.

Addendum:

Reynolds 2003: 29 starts, *11-9, 165.3 ip, 5.50 ERA, 93 k / 59 bb, 20 hr

*in his 11 wins, Braves scored an average of 9(!) runs a game.

I will take Sosa over all those clowns listed, atleast he had one good year. He was awesome in 05 and I think Leo hurt him.

I believe the term you're looking for is "regression toward the mean". It's not Leo...Sosa sucks (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/6885/career)

Also see: non-2004 Adrian Beltre (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/6039/career).

Not spectacular, but like I said...I think the Braves would have been tickled pink to get this kind of production from Reddy. Hopefully he is gone for good.

None of the above can hold a candle to Armando Reynoso, Terrell Wade, Odalis Perez or Jason Shiell.

Of the bad pitchers Redman has to be the worst. Reynolds is remembered as being attrocious because Jason Marquis and Trey Hodges were better options than him. The thing about Lopez was that he was okay as an expensive mopup reliever. Redman has needed a mopup reliever and more in all but one of his starts this year!
