As long as the Rockies forget how to hit by Friday, we're okay. The Braves come into town Fri, Sat (*woo hoo*) & Sun, so I'm hoping for at least 2 out of 3... :)

Dave, the game Saturday now has Smoltz going. Just thought I'd tell you since it had changed in the last few days.

The Mets just got hosed to end the game. Oh well. I'll take it. They lose 11-5 and we're in a virtual tie for first place at this time.

Yesterday's heroes are still there now, I'm watching the game right now, I'll update it later...

If you throw the game date into the daily heroes that might avoid some confusion and let you update it whenever you want to update it with out people asking you about it... Just a suggestion.

The off day would be going much sweeter if the game didn't end the way it did last night. This off day is just prolonging the agony.

What really sucks is I thought the Mets game was yesterday. So I was all geared up to cheer for a loss at 7 and then I realized I had another day to wait for their loss and our win.

Reitsma gave up a 3-run bomb to the Royals last night on an 0-2 pitch. And was immediately lifted by his manager. Boy, I am soooo happy he's not our problem anymore. Good Luck, Seattle.

He was pitching well before, just one run in 7 innings or so... HoRam had a good outing too

Chief, one reason I went looking for a site like this one (like which there is in fact none other!) was to try to find out if anybody was talking about how strong this year's Braves team looked with the improved pitching and the great spring McCann had. Don't you think it's odd how little any of the mainstream sports media have had to say about the Braves? Are they boring, same old same old, or just in too small a news demographic? Or is there nothing but a disappointed fan's wishes in all of this?
Love to know what you think.

In response to the above post, I think the media has just gotten tired of talking about us because we've been a constant thing and aren't as large of a market for them as the Boston and New York teams are.
