Best Conference?

NCAA basketball is right around the corner, which conference is the best in basketball? the traditional answer: ACC? the big east? someone else?

I say the ACC is still the best

Doesn't this depend on what conference you watch more of? For instance, I cannot imagine another confererence that matches the Big East play.

You could make the argument for quite a few conferences. ACC, Big East, Big 10 and the SEC have the potential every year to be the "best conference." It's just how it all plays out when they take the court. You'd get a better answer to this in January when we have records and stats to go by ... right now you'd probably get biased answers like FP said.

Doesn't it also depend on how you define best? I guess, to me, the best would be the conference with the best in-conference games, not necessarily the best finish.

yes it depends on a lot of stuff, but jeez you all can still offer oppinions instead of just saying "well that depends on what you mean by the best." its just an oppinion thing.

I did offer an "opinion." In how I view the question, I go with the Big East, but that's because I watch Big East basketball. But like McCarroll said, the question makes little sense right now.

yes Falcon you did offer an answer, no one else did, good for you. This wasnt supposed to be some kind of a big deal. its just which conference you think is the best going into this season. just forget it. it doesnt have to make a lot of sense, we are not espn anylyst or newspaper columnists, its just a simple question.

the perennial power is usually the ACC, but the Big East with its plethora of teams probably has the most good teams now
