9/11 Building 7 - impossible collapse

http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=4026073566596731782

Fast Forward to 45:00 and watch til 50:00. Very interesting.

McCarroll21
11-30-2006, 03:46 PM
I've watched a lot of videos about the collapse and was it controlled or not and it looks to me like it's controlled demolition. In another video the people that work in the buildings say that they were kicked out of their offices some time prior for some kind of maintenence work to the building. A lot of them are suspecting that this is when someone planted the dynamite to get that demolition effect.

Now the question, was it done by Bush or were those people with Al-Qaeda.

KB 34
11-30-2006, 04:59 PM
A couple of years ago I saw a physics movie that explained exactly how the building collapsed and the physics behind it. From what I understand of the situation the kind of person who would know best about the collapse would be a structural engineer and I haven't heard any of them come out supporting the theory. For those who wonder why some people were kicked out for maintenance, with a building of that size I cannot imagine there not being constant maintenance being done every day. I also wonder if this is all Bush's workings why no one has blown the cover. He's constantly called stupid but to do anything like this and keep it quiet would be next to impossible. Think about the number of people who would have to be involved. Bill Clinton couldn't keep an encounter with an intern that maybe 10 people knew about quiet and Bush has kept something involving thousands of people quiet for 5 years? I thought he wasn't a smart president!?!?!?!

Jsh1284
11-30-2006, 05:02 PM
I don't think Bush is even capable of comprehending such a co-ordinated effort. I do however think its got a lot to do with those who could benefit from the two biggest industries on Earth - Oil and Military.

There's no single person that I can see who would benefit the most from it, but there are obviously a few powerful individuals in those two industries who have made a killing - literally - from September 11th, 2001 and its aftermath.

KB ... watch that video ... heh, its got top structural engineers, physics experts, demolitions experts, and two of the 12 WTC designers speaking and explaining how all three collapses were impossible.

A couple of years ago I saw a physics movie that explained exactly how the building collapsed and the physics behind it. From what I understand of the situation the kind of person who would know best about the collapse would be a structural engineer and I haven't heard any of them come out supporting the theory. The event happened when I was a senior in high school and I was in Physics class early that morning and we were talking about it. Since it happened in Physics class we kept the conversation going and my Physics teacher (who wasn't a licensed teacher but instead a nuclear physicist filling in for a few years) took us through all the things that could have happened to make the building fall the way it did.

I don't know, I'm on the fence about it all. I'm with you in thinking that if it was something Bush did, someone would have blown the cover by now. Something we'll never truly know, but if you watch all the videos about the days events and hear people talk about the entire day it all unraveled in a very strange fashion.

Jsh1284
11-30-2006, 05:45 PM
What has me convinced is the fact that the core came down with the building. In all other major fires, the core has remained upright. The engineers who took samples of the burnt steel and found that temperatures in the worst part of the fire only reached 600 degrees for a time period of about 15 minutes. The rest barely burned at 400. 600 isn't even 1/4 of the required temperature to melt steel. Its half the required temp to weaken the steel.

I'm totally sold on this.

BTW ... FEMA did these tests and proved the above.

McCarroll21
11-30-2006, 06:24 PM
Yeah, I've become pretty sold that it was a controlled demolition, but I'm not sold on it being done by Bush or his cabinet as let on by some of the conspiracy theories out there.

I wish he would have played longer than he did. It's incredible that such a small back was able to be a feature back in the NFL, and to be that good is even more incredible. He got away with being small because I don't think he EVER got hit square by a lineman or linebacker.

I've seen Devine play. He's the real deal. There's another great kid here in Lakeland; Chris Rainey (RB). He's a bit undersized but incredibly elusive. He pretty much led Lakeland to their 3rd straight state title earlier this month. Unfortunately he's chosen UF, as did about 5 of his other teammates.

That, my friends, is not how you throw the ball up to kill the final seconds.

I know why they do it, but I've never really understood why they insist on throwing the ball in the air anyway. Why not just hold on to it for a second or two and not worry about any fluke things happening like this? Unless something ridiculous happens in the next 8 months, that should easily go down as the bone-head play of the year

McCarroll21
04-02-2007, 08:01 AM
Hell, in that situation, instead of throwing the ball in the air, I'm hanging on to it and getting fouled. 90% free throw shooters don't pass up their chances to tack on two more points. :D

Though, I have always dreamed of having the ball with 1.5 seconds left against a big-time rival and just heaving the ball into the crowd. I don't know why, but it's just something that, as a point guard, goes through your mind when you're "winning the big one."

The situation would have to be perfect though. The closest I've gotten to it is having the opposing team score with less than 5 on the clock and no timeouts. I just grabbed the ball out of the net, set the ball down out of bounds and walked off. It's always fun to reach for hands before the buzzer goes off.
