Yeah, although to the player, not being on a coast may not be appealing.

If we make a competitive offer, he might just look at our only recently ended streak of 14 consecutive postseason appearances and see himself as part of a winning solution. :)

It's closer than most places, but money'll probably be the biggest problem. I heard something like $30M to talk to him, $40M/5y to sign him or something along those lines, I doubt we'll pay an unknown player 14 million over 5 years without freeing up a lot of cash.
