WOW....

Brian Vickers has a death wish.

i just wish Dale Jr would be more like his dad...his dad was a real racer.

I was thinking the same thing. Notice that Vickers didn't hang around and do any burnouts or anything? LOL! He cut straight across the infield and went to victory lane.

he was in Victory Lane IMMEDIATELY.

and the crowd was sure to let him know they weren't buying his story of the 48 drifting into him.

Junior was a total puss in his post-race interview. The guy totally needs to grow a pair.

agreed.

if his name wasn't Dale Earnhardt Jr, you'd never know his father drove the black #3. he doesn't have any of his father in him.

I just don't like NASCAR. It's a waste of gasoline.

then don't post in a NASCAR thread.

agreed. If he had half of sr's drive in him he'd be a force, but like u said, nobody is/will ever be like sr. God rest his soul

I've just watched the race (I had it on my comp since long but I couldn't find time)
I was thinking the same thing. Notice that Vickers didn't hang around and do any burnouts or anything? LOL! He cut straight across the infield and went to victory lane.

He did a couple of spins in the grass, but indeed he didn't stay long on the track :D That was a stupid wreck, but I'll call that a collective brain failure. Johnson move was filled with gayness, heck if you want to pass the guy go at it and don't stay behind him. Vickers was a retard trying to do some slingshot/bumpdraft/what the hell it was on Johnson that early. And for junior eck you're gonna kill me guys but he was quite harsh with the other guys today and I'll say he just received a big payback of that bump tap he did on kurt boosch entering T3. Nascar said no to bumpdrafting in corners and Jr continued to do it, so he's the victim of something he could have done himself. I wish nascar didn't run like a coward pressing the yellow flag button, I'd have loved to see Kahne give Ray Evernham his first win on a SS.
But other than that, this was a fucking good race, 63 lead changes for god's sake  that's good for 4th all time, and seeing how SS racing has been lately (see daytona 500 as an example of SS boredom) I say well done nascar. The resurfacing sure did a lot of good to the racing, and seeing the guys hit 202mph with the smaller plates and going 4 wide without too much trouble, I loved it.

And jsut like that, who's your favourite driver guys ? Mine is still Rusty Wallace, meh I would kill to see him run the #2 again (I can't believe Kurt fag boosch drives it). Now I'll go with Kahne and Edwards ... but this just isn't the same and without Rusty I'm harving a hard time finding good reasons to stay up late to watch Nascar.

Sure. I've discovered Nascar too late to know who he was, but I've watched some of his performances (fall Talladega 2000 comes to my mind, awesome show he made) and he's a great driver. And out of today's driver, who do you support ?

honestly i don't watch enough anymore to support anyone. i'll usually watch Daytona, Talladega, and maybe Bristol.

i've tried to root on Dale Jr. but he just doesn't show me much of anything.

once Dale. Sr. was gone, i pulled for Rusty a little bit and hoped he would hop in a Chevy ride, unfortunately that didn't happen.

I never could stand Rusty back in the early/mid 90's. Him and Davey had a Jeff Gordon/Dale Jr type rivalry going on ... except Davey and Rusty arent gayish-sissys. :)

i think the only reason i pulled for Rusty a little bit when Dale Sr. was gone was because there weren't any other old timers around who did anything other than drive around.

and Rusty was a good buddy with Dale Sr.
