I'm always looking for new shows to watch. I figured it'd be helpful to others if we all posted our top 5 tv shows that we are currently watching. Here goes mine:

Anyone else watch Fringe? I've been really disappointed in Season 2 so far after a great Season 1. This current season is just bunch of individual events that don't progress the overall plot one bit. It's like House with a main character than can't hold a candle to House. They just have a weird phenomenon with no explanation on where it came from then Walter solves it at the end.

Yeah, I watch it. I'm OK with shows being episodic as long as it's not too formulaic, and you're right that it's gotten insanely formulaic. It's never blown me away actually, even season one, but for some reason I keep watching. I think it's just because it's just a well crafted show aside from the writing...easy to watch.

Last week's episode was my favorite of the series so far. I think they've finally gotten back to the mythology part. The freak of the week stuff bores me.
