I'm not against Infante getting starts, but I think right now he needs to be getting some in CF if Jordan's wrist is bothering him as much as people let on. KJ can't hit his way out of a slump if he's never in the lineup for more than a day at a time.

Not sure about their lineup, btw. Our lineup comes from DOB (http://blogs.ajc.com/atlanta-braves-blog/2009/05/05/braves-need-infusion-of-power/#comment-80161). BJones sent to Gwinnett to make room for GA, as expected.

Okay Garret, you've had your vacation, time to earn your paycheck. This has to be the worst 4-5 combo in the history of baseball.

Doesn't matter how the lineup is constructed. No Eric Gregg means success against Hernandez.

I agree on sitting Schafer, with his wrist, this guys is gonna set a modern day strikeout record at this pace. Also, just wandering, and just a thought, Clevland is in last place, so what do you guys think about bringing Derosa back for LF, I know he's not the power hitter we are looking for, but he has been hitting the ball, something a few guys in our lineup havent been doing

LOL! The Astros/Nationals game took too long so FSSW switched to the Rangers/Mariners game right in the middle of an at-bat.

And now the game is in rain delay in Washington after they played an inning in a downpour. That's a nice getaway day treat for both these teams. Washington is going to LA and Houston is going home to play the Cubs.

We get all the Fox sports channels and the guide will say some game is on, then you turn it there and they are showing darts or poker, sucks. But I really do like the way MLB Network has all there stuff set up

The Astros game is supposed to be on 678 right now, but they're showing the Rangers while the Astros game is in delay. It's really weird. lol

What do you think of bringing Derosa back to Atlanta? to play LF, I know he's not the power we are looking for, but at least he is hitting, and he did a pretty good job last year for the cubs when he played outfield? I really dont see GA doing anything, unless he comes back and starts tearing it up and picking the rest of the lineup up

I'd have to agree whole heartedly on this one. If Jordan's wrists are the cause of ALL these strikeouts then he definately needs to be resting it and getting back to hitting the ball. The kid is on a horrid S/O pace right and needs to do something to right the ship. I personally would like to see him have a few nights off, all we hear about is how bad his wrist is. Why not rest it? It's not like he's producing runs or anything at the moment. Take care of it now, while it's early in the season.

The Injuns probably don't want to part with their 3B. He's been hitting cleanup for them the last couple of games against LHP.

Heard that. Quit jerking him around. Just trade him for a bat and stick Prado at 2B. The team could be worse off than that.

UPDATE: Before being able to post it, he walked Ichiro.

I'm going to have to defend him now. His career BABIP is .322 and his current BABIP is .210. He's going to bust out of it, if he's allowed to play. Trade him somewhere and stick Prado at 2nd just so we don't have to deal with this anymore.

I agree, its kinda hard to break a slump sitting in the dugout, but I guess Bobby has been riding a slump since 2001 so what's the big deal?

I plan to pop in the gamethread around 8ish...
