All odds are against us, so in Braves baseball fashion we'll probably win in a blowout.

I see about a 9-3 type of loss tonight.

Is Brandon Jones getting a tryout for starting LF...?
or is this just a temporary thing for shits and giggles

LOL @ BJones getting the quick hook. What a joke.

It's pretty obvious he's not in the Braves plans at this point, which is sort of lame, and sort of understandable. If Gorkys hits like he has so far all year, he's not going to be in the minors next year, at least not for long. And Heyward's not going to be in the minors for too much longer either; so he's getting passed one way or another. It's just lame that we didn't just go with BJones instead of Garret and could have used that money elsewhere.

I just don't think we'll ever see a Gorkys and Schafer outfield. It's going to be one or the other in CF with the other traded somewhere. No one is going to block Heyward, and if Jeff has found a swing to where he can be successful for the long term he'll be around for a while too.

I just like the idea of it from a defensive standpoint. Of course, assuming both of them become productive big league hitters. Having Schafer in left and Gorkys in center and Heyward in right would make THK look even better.
