Just a quick thought!!!!!

I'm just gonna throw this out there, and I don't want everyone to read all that much into it. But as I was watching the game last night and during one of the delays. they had the "In my own words" on, with Hank Aaron. I had seen this a couple of times but there was one part in there that kinda dawned on me. When he was brought up to the majors and played a year or two, he got sent back down, he reflected on it by saying there were no veterans on the team other than Spahn, and he didn't know how to react. He also compared his self to Mickey Mantle how he was brought up and sent back down after just a couple of years or a year, and that he almost quit baseball all together. Both players were highly "respected prospects" in their on right. Then it dawned on me, now like I said, please don't read to much into this, and by no means am I putting him in the same category with those two great legends, and I am not trying to disrespect those two players, but Jeff Francoeur seems to be on that same path. I know that all of us were ready to basically just put him out to pasture last year, and I know he hasn't been on tearing it up this year, but he does seem to have been working on his hitting, and looks better than he did last year. Anyway jusy a little thought that struck me and I have been thinking about it since last night. Now I'll sit here and listen to everyone go off on me and call me crazy and so on. But like I said, I don't want anyone reading to much into it, and I have been trying not to put to much thought into it.

Just wondering by why do most people critisize everybody for stating what they feel here? Is it always like this, or is it just because we've been losing lately, because out of all different forums I've been on this is a first of so much critizism, haha???

Wow, you should go over to chiefsplanet. If you say you like any draft prospect you get reemed a new one. No matter who it is. But this site is actually a lot better than other forums. Except for the news section. Why can't you talk about news articles? I want to discuss them, not just read them. That's my one big complaint.

It is a little redundant to do that because we already discuss what is contained in those articles in the Major League Baseball forum.

Yeah, and more often than not we discuss it before the RSS comes though. Discussing in the actual RSS threads would just fragment the discussion and be confusing.
