Looks like the rain has moved out of Orlando, so hopefully they get it in.

I know it is just spring training, but I hate the Phillies. I hope we beat them down today.

I just had to double check the date. It's still 2009 . It's also March, and it's snowing in Metro-Atlanta. This is the first time in a long time I can remember seeing snow here this late.

Yeah, we got about 2-3 inches of snow yesterday. What's funny is there's some parts of the county that I live in that only got a half inch.

At times it will snow pretty hard and not stick, then it will start sticking. We're supposed to be getting an inch or so. It's nothing to intense, but it's still snow.

the man that is on right now doing "sunday with sinatra" is kind of a silver fox.

From what I'm hearing on the station it doesn't sound like they'll be streaming the game. Hopefully we can find another link.

Getting some heavy, snowish slush in Athens right now.

That's what we got first yesterday and ended up with about 3 inches.

we're getting some nasty stuff here in Winterville, no snow yet though.

this stuff isn't sticking much...the ground looks like it's frosted over, not snowy. This is about as ugly as snow gets.
Snow is highly overrated, I don't get it.

Don't worry about the rain. We'll probably get to see our "2011" lineup today
"They've removed the tarp from the field and according to the radar, it looks like we might be able to enjoy an rain-free game today. I'm sorry to hear that the weather gods aren't being as kind to you in Atlanta today."

I'm definitely not into snow. I like it for about an hour when everything's covered and you feel like you could be in the 1600's, but once the roads and shit are cleared. meh.
I have no idea why i've been listening to this damn announcement and jazz organ for so long...time to mute
I hope we don't get Harry Kalas, I'm already tired, he'll just put me out. He's the Turkey of baseball announcers.

I hope we don't get Harry Kalas, I'm already tired, he'll just put me out. He's the Turkey of baseball announcers. The fact that it's a Spring Training game won't make the case any better. He'll put us all to sleep. Maybe he'll wake us up with an "Outta Here!" off of Jo-Jo Reyes?

we are getting some serious infield singles so far this ST...guess that's partially because of careful defense.

I think Chipper's ready to go. He's a clear case of people who get bored with Spring Training by the middle of March.

A two bagger for Chipper. Here comes a 3R-HR from Mac!

Sac fly for McCann. It's nice to see we got that run in from third with less than 2 out, even if it is spring training.

Giles. Giles used to be great for this team. Since he's been gone his play has just been horrible. A lot like Andruw Jones.

You mean, the reason why he left was because he was horrible and the Braves non-tendered him due to lack of steroids?

With this Phillies broadcast, I'm only missing one thing from the Braves broadcasts from last spring...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoAqEwk5Kts
These announcers aren't too fond of Jo-Jo lol. They kept saying last year how they can't believe how he was 12-1 at AAA because how bad he looked in the bigs.

Had to get the Empire song stuck in my head didn't you, Mac? Couldn't let me have the only positive thing about baseball off-season...not hearing that song.
