Game 1:
Braves (0-0) at Nationals (0-0)
This game started off as a pitchers duel. Both teams only combined for 3 hits in the first 5 innings (2 by Braves and 1 for Nationals). The Braves struck first in the top of the 6th on a solo shot to right off the bat of Mark Kotsay. The Nationals answered right back in the bottom of the 6th with a 3 rbi double by Young. Later that inning Belliard singled to center driving in Young to bring the score to 4-1 Nats. The Nats also scored again the next inning on a 2 rbi HR from Zimmerman with 2 out. In the top of the eight the Braves cut the lead in half with a sac-fly by Kotsay and a rbi single by Chipper. But the Nats had something to say with a solo HR by Young in the bottom of the inning bringing the score to 7-3. The Braves were shut down 1-2-3 in the top of the 9th lossing opening day 7-3.

Game 3:
Pirates (0-1) at Braves (1-1)
Glavine does a great job his first time back in a Braves uniform since 2002. He pitched 5 innings giving up 1 run on 5 hits, 2 BB, and 2 SO. Glavine gets some help from Teixeira on a RBI fielders choice in the 1st and Glavine helps himself out by bunting a runner home to take a 2-0 in the 2nd inning and that is all the Braves will score. The Pirates wait till the 5th to score on a Wilson RBI sac-fly cutting the lead to 2-1. Gonzalez come in to pitch the 8th. Gonzalez works the bases loaded with no out and the Pirates get 2 runs by a Laroche RBI walk and a Pearce RBI ground out bringing the score to 3-2. That is all the Pirates needed as they bring in Capps to close the game out.
W: Osoria
L: Gonzalez
S: Capps

Another good thing about video games is that they probably woundn't get injured.

True. Except if you're Mark Prior or Kerry Wood. They always get hurt in MVP Baseball 2004:D
