Basically, our RSS feed will allow you to receive a feed of the latest threads in specific forum(s).

Our RSS feed address is: http://www.braves-nation.com/forums/external.php?type=RSS2

It should allow you to see when the newest posts are posted. You can add it to any RSS readder and be updated as soon as there are new posts on the forums -- well, as soon as your reader updates itself.

I don't know, I'm sure you can but I wouldn't know how to tell you to go about it. It's a feature in vBulletin that I had overlooked the last time I looked at that section of the options.

Okay, then..... why don't we advertise it on braves.net. :)

1. Not a competition.
2. They have that feature too.
3. To advertise it, we'd display a link, they wouldn't let that link stay up.
4. Only 5 people would see it a day because that's about all the people they have posting anymore.

The link I listed in the original post is for new posts/threads on the forums. There is an RSS feed for every forum, thread, etc. on the forums too. When you are viewing a forum, you have the ability to subscirbe to just that forum, or that thread. I can't instruct you on how to do this as it is different on different browswers, but the option is there to subscribe to on particular thread, forum, etc.
