Hendrickson is 7-3, with a 5.27 ERA.

I hope we call up a position player; or bring up Stockman and a position player and send Carlyle out. If we're not going to use the 13th guy, there's no need in limiting ourselves to a short bench.

Jsh1284
06-04-2008, 02:10 PM
I honestly don't remember .. but he's not exactly having a great season. He just gets a ton of run support which is the reason he has seven wins. I think if we shut their offense down we can win this thing.

its really a three man bench anyway b/c Corky is useless as a bench player. Don't know who it would be if Prado isn't ready. Doubt they would have Jones and Anderson up. Thorman???

Don't think they'd call up Thorman because then they'd have to DFA him again to get him back to Richmond. I agree it's kind of questionable about who to bring up.

Don't see how that could be a realistic picture. Our bullpen is deeper than our rotation right now so it'd be odd to move one of those who provide depth to the rotation to the bullpen.

Morton just needs to stay where he is until we need him.

Yes and no. He has always nibbled and never gives in, but he used to be good enough adjust to the umpire and game.

When you're walking the ballpark, you're not pitching to contact. That's what he's always done before, but now he's pitching like a rookie scared of having a homer hit off him.

Yes, but that isn't because he lost his control. He's always nibbled around the corners, and if he gets the call he gets it, if not he deals with the walk. Walking Helms wasn't even that bad, he got the ground ball from Jacobs, it just had eyes.
