I'm not expecting Glavine to be an ace, but I am expecting him to pitch like the veteran that he is and adjust to the game and keep the leads he's given.

Glavine's doing his job, but right now we need a lift. I'm not cutting down on Glavine for not giving us that lift, I'm just saying he's not giving it to us. The fact we need a lift has nothing to do with Glavine pitching like a #4. I was just hoping that after Smoltz went down, Glavine would be the veteran that he is and be a reliable pitcher. If he's not keeping his leads or making us dig into the bullpen before the sixth inning when given 8 runs, he's not reliable.

A pitcher has to learn how to pitch with a lead. Glavine has failed to do that. Period.And this comes back to bite him in the ass again.
