I think what he meant was that, while it IS another one run loss, it's not as heartbreaking since we were down by a lot for most the game and nearly came back in the 9th. It wasn't a case of us being ahead and then our bullpen blowing it late, or us being behind by a run for most of the game and not being able to tie it up.

I don't know...I think it's still pretty heartbreaking. Blowing a lead just pisses me off. Coming thisclose to coming back from a deficit and being able to taste the win, then falling short, is heartbreaking to me.

5 minus 4 equals 1, we were the one's with 4. It still counts as a 1 run loss, just as you would count it as a 1 run win had we got up to 6.
