He really is a great comeback story. He's killing the ball at the plate too.

2007 - 172 at bats - 120 OPS+
2008 - 138 at bats - 132 OPS+

That's 310 at bats and it's getting hard to call it a fluke start.

Funny how he couldn't hit the catcher from 60 feet away a few years ago and now he's throwing 300 foot strikes. Must've been overthinking the whole pitching thing.

It looked like the second runner may have been safe, that doesn't take anything away from those throws though, that's amazing.

I don't know if any of you have played or are playing currently, but I have to say that throwing out someone like that is the best feeling I've ever had playing sports. Better than home runs, better than completely laying out for a catch. Those two throws are some of the best I've ever seen, and I can't imagine what it must feel like to pull that off.
