But they don't have two gold glove quality middle infielders right now. Move KJ down in the order and at first base with Furcal and Escobar 1-2 and in the middle infield and the offense is still good and the defense up the middle is much improved.

I'm not saying I would do it, but it is something to have fun thinking about.

With that and the lack of power at corner outfield, the Braves are third in the NL and eighth in the majors in runs scored. Again, I know Teix will hit for more power, but we're also looking at the current runs so it's all relative.

I guess moving Kelly's .168 career isoSLG down in the order and replacing his career .357 OBP with Furcal's .351 career OBP at the top of the lineup will kill their offense. :rolleyes:
